Private Penile Ultrasound Scans
Penile scans are used to assess the structure and/or blood flow of the penis. We offer two types, both non-invasive, painless, and performed by experienced male sonographers in a private, discreet setting. If you’re not sure which one you need, read on and we’ll help you choose the right one.
Which scan is right for you?
Penile Ultrasound Scan | £350
Best for: Lumps, pain, curvature, trauma, or suspected Peyronie’s disease.
This scan examines the structure and tissues of the penis. It’s used to detect plaques, scar tissue, masses, or any physical abnormalities that may be causing symptoms.
Choose this scan if you have:
– A lump or mass
– Penile curvature or deformity during erection
– Pain during erections or sexual activity
– A suspected injury or trauma
Penile Doppler Ultrasound | £650
Best for: Erectile dysfunction (ED) linked to blood flow problems.
This scan does everything the standard penile scan does but also evaluates blood flow through the penile arteries and veins using Colour Doppler imaging. It’s the appropriate scan when the concern is vascular causes of ED.
Choose this scan if you have:
– Difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection
– Been referred for vascular assessment of ED
– Been prescribed Viagra or a similar medication by your doctor (required for the ED assessment component)
