Comprehensive Heart Ultrasound Assessment for Couples

The Couple Echocardiography (Heart Ultrasound) service at Phoenix Ultrasound is a comprehensive cardiac assessment designed for couples who wish to evaluate their heart health together in a single visit.

This package includes two individual adult echocardiography scans, one for each partner, performed separately and reported individually to ensure accurate and personalised assessment.

Echocardiography is a safe, non-invasive ultrasound examination that uses sound waves to produce real-time images of the heart, allowing detailed evaluation of cardiac structure and function without radiation exposure.

This service is ideal for couples who value preventative cardiovascular screening, have cardiac risk factors, or would like reassurance regarding their heart health.

📋 The Couple Echocardiography Service at Phoenix Ultrasound

The Couple Echocardiography service is designed to provide a detailed assessment of heart anatomy and function for both partners during one appointment.

This package includes:

  • Adult Echocardiography for Partner One
  • Adult Echocardiography for Partner Two

Each echocardiogram is performed individually by experienced cardiac sonographers and interpreted separately to ensure clinical accuracy and clarity.

What Does the Couple Echocardiography Scan Include?

Each adult echocardiography scan includes assessment of:

  • ✔ Heart chambers (atria and ventricles)
  • ✔ Heart muscle function and wall motion
  • ✔ Heart valves (mitral, aortic, tricuspid, and pulmonary valves)
  • ✔ Blood flow through the heart using Doppler ultrasound
  • ✔ Cardiac pumping function (ejection fraction)
  • ✔ Pericardium (the sac surrounding the heart)

This combined cardiac screening allows couples to:

  • ✔ Assess heart structure and function in a safe and non-invasive way
  • ✔ Detect early signs of cardiac conditions
  • ✔ Evaluate heart valve function and blood flow
  • ✔ Monitor known cardiac conditions or risk factors
  • ✔ Take a proactive and preventative approach to cardiovascular health together

All findings are documented in separate, detailed medical reports for each individual.
