This combined cardiovascular and vascular assessment brings together adult echocardiography (heart ultrasound) with our Full Vascular Doppler Scan Package in a coordinated pathway. It is a non-invasive, radiation-free way to assess heart structure and function alongside comprehensive Doppler evaluation of key arteries and veins—supporting early detection, prevention, and ongoing monitoring of cardiovascular and vascular conditions.
What’s Included in This Package?
1) Adult Echocardiography (Heart Ultrasound)
A detailed ultrasound assessment of the heart using high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of the heart chambers, valves, and blood flow—helping evaluate how well the heart is working.
Your echocardiogram can help evaluate:
✔ Heart size, shape, and overall function
✔ Heart valves (including function and potential valve disease)
✔ Blood flow patterns using Doppler
✔ Cardiac pumping function
✔ Possible causes of symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, fatigue, or evaluation of a murmur
✔ Monitoring of known cardiac conditions (e.g., valve disease, cardiomyopathy, heart failure)
2) Full Vascular Doppler Scan Package
A comprehensive Doppler ultrasound package designed to assess blood flow in major arteries and veins, supporting detection and monitoring of vascular conditions.
What the Full Vascular Package includes:
– Carotid Artery Doppler – assesses narrowing/blockage in arteries supplying the brain (stroke-risk assessment when clinically relevant)
– Venous Doppler Ultrasound – assesses for conditions such as DVT or venous insufficiency (arms and legs)
– Peripheral Artery Doppler – evaluates limb arteries for circulation issues and potential peripheral artery disease (PAD)
– Abdominal Aorta Doppler – screens the abdominal aorta for aneurysm, narrowing, or blockages and evaluates major branches
Why This Combined Package Matters
By assessing the heart and vascular system together, this package can support a more complete understanding of cardiovascular health—particularly for people with symptoms, risk factors, or those seeking preventative screening.
Key advantages:
✔ Early detection of vascular risks before they escalate (e.g., stroke risk markers, DVT, aneurysm concerns)
✔ Useful for ongoing monitoring if you are under cardiovascular care or have known vascular conditions
✔ Supports preventive planning by identifying hidden risks that may guide lifestyle or medical follow-up
Who Is This Package Suitable For?
This combined assessment may be helpful for:
– Adults with cardiovascular risk factors (e.g., high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking history, family history)
– People with vascular symptoms such as leg pain, swelling, heaviness, or concerns about circulation
– Individuals with symptoms such as breathlessness, chest pain, palpitations, or fatigue
– Those seeking a comprehensive vascular check-up for peace of mind
Benefits
✅ Covers major arteries and veins as well as the heart in a coordinated pathway
✅ Non-invasive and radiation-free
✅ Helps investigate symptoms and supports preventative cardiovascular planning
✅ Specialist-performed scanning with professional reporting
What Happens During the Appointment?
Echocardiography
– Typically 30 minutes
– Gel is applied to the chest; a handheld probe captures heart images
– You may be asked to change position or briefly hold your breath for clearer views
Full Vascular Doppler Package
– A structured Doppler assessment of key vascular territories (neck arteries, abdominal aorta, peripheral arteries, and veins)
– Performed using Doppler ultrasound to assess blood flow and identify narrowing, blockage, clot, or insufficiency patterns where relevant
– Typically 40-60 minutes
Results & Reporting
After your scans, you will have the opportunity to hear the initial findings verbally from our specialist.
Your full written report and selected images will then be sent to you within 24 hours, which you can share with your GP or cardiologist for ongoing care and follow-up. (Clinic policy text as provided by you.)
Preparation
In general, no special preparation is needed for echocardiography. For the vascular package, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and avoiding lotions/oils on the areas being examined; any scan-specific guidance will be provided at booking.
Please note: This is a combined package and the scans are performed by two different specialists. Your booking will be arranged first for the Full Vascular Doppler Scan Package.Once your Full vascular scan appointment is confirmed, our team will contact you promptly to coordinate a suitable time before or after yourFull Vascular Doppler Scan Package for your Echocardiography.
Important Medical Note
This assessment supports cardiovascular and vascular evaluation and prevention planning, but it does not replace urgent medical care. If you have severe chest pain, sudden weakness, facial droop, speech difficulty, or other emergency symptoms, seek urgent medical attention.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING APPOINTMENT TIME:
As this is a combined cardiac and vascular service provided by different specialists, your appointment is initially scheduled based on the echocardiography (heart scan). The vascular scan is then arranged accordingly after booking. We aim to schedule both scans on the same day and as close together as possible; however, consecutive appointments cannot always be guaranteed. Our team will contact you shortly after booking to confirm the final timings for both scans.
Echocardiography: 30 minutes
vascular Doppler scan package: 50 minutes
Important Notice Regarding “Full Vascular Doppler Packages”:
The terms Full Body Ultrasound, Full Body Plus Ultrasound, and Full Vascular Doppler refer to custom-designed scan packages created by our clinic. These packages combine ultrasound assessment of selected major anatomical regions to provide a convenient and structured screening option for patients.
These package names are not intended to imply examination of every organ or all body systems. In medical practice, each organ requires specific imaging techniques and protocols, and there is no single ultrasound examination capable of comprehensively evaluating the entire body.
We kindly advise patients to carefully review the list of organs and regions included in each package, which are clearly detailed on our website.
If you have any questions, our team is available via email, WhatsApp, or telephone.
